My Place App – Govhack 2019

Awarded Winner for the Govhack 2019 Indigenous Languages challenge.

An app created to promote and encourage communities across Australia to actively participate in the preservation and reconstruction of indigenous languages. My Place displays the name of objects in the current locations indigenous language through the use geolocation, image recognition and displays the name in augmented reality.

Govhack is a 46 hour hackathon held across Australia and New Zealand.
