Overview

InVi AI is an XR and AI insurance inspection platform exploring how smart glasses can make property claim inspections easier, faster, and more consistent.

The project was selected as a finalist at XRCC and is being built in collaboration with an international team, with members based in Canada, the USA, and India.

The core experience is designed for wearable XR devices such as Meta Ray-Ban Display and Snap Specs, supported by a companion Android app and a Next.js admin portal.

The glasses experience is the centre of the concept. Instead of forcing an inspector to constantly switch between a phone, checklist, camera, and report notes, InVi AI explores a heads-up inspection workflow where the inspector can view prompts, capture evidence, and receive AI-assisted guidance while staying focused on the property.

My Role

My role covered both product/team leadership and hands-on development. I managed the international team while also building the app experience and leading the XR and AI integration.

Project Goal

Property claim inspections involve visual evidence, structured checklists, photos, location context, and reporting. InVi AI explores how XR and AI could reduce friction in that workflow by helping inspectors capture the right information at the right time.

The goal is to make inspections feel less like manual admin work and more like a guided field workflow, where wearable devices and AI support the inspector without getting in the way.
