Thud! is a puzzle game that was created after I completed a 3D course project. The game is designed to challenge players’ puzzle-solving skills and immerse them in an emotionally charged atmosphere.
As the player, you wake up as a child in a room and are tasked with completing a series of puzzles before time runs out. The puzzles start off relatively simple, but they become progressively more difficult as the game goes on. As you work your way through the puzzles, you’ll notice a trauma meter that starts to fill up, representing the impact of traumatic events that are affecting you.
Outside the door, you can hear an argument growing louder and more distorted as the trauma meter fills up, making it more challenging to focus on the puzzles. This creates a tense and immersive atmosphere that will keep players engaged and on the edge of their seat.
Thud! is an experience that will test your cognitive abilities and emotional resilience. You can even play it online by clicking on the button below.
